1. Definitions

“Company” means Swedish Blue Spas.
“Hirer” means the person(s) named on the booking confirmation.
“Equipment” means the hot tub and all accessories provided as part of the hire package.
“Hire Period” means the dates confirmed in your booking.

2. Safety & Use of the Hot Tub

The hot tub is for enjoyment and relaxation, but safety must come first. Please ensure that you and your guests follow these rules:

The hot tub must remain plugged into the electricity supply at all times, including on the day of collection.
When not in use, set the control panel to AUTO and fit the cover securely.
Do not use the hot tub under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Always shower before entering and remove the cover completely before use.
Follow all instructions on chemical containers. Never mix chemicals, and never add them while people are in the hot tub.
Take care when entering or leaving to avoid slips or falls.
Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, suffering from a heart condition, or other health concerns affected by heat.
Do not submerge your head under water.
Do not sit, stand, or lie on the cover.
Do not use the hot tub above 40°C.
Children under 5 must not use the hot tub. Children over 5 must always be supervised by an adult.
No glass in or around the hot tub. In case of broken glass, evacuate immediately, set the control panel to AUTO, and contact us.
Elderly or infirm users should not use the hot tub without supervision.

You must provide a minimum flat, level space of 2m x 2m (3m x 3m recommended – see Access Guide).
Access to a water supply (tap) and a standard 13-amp plug socket is required (not a spur).
For delivery, clear access is required:
- Orbis Spa: 80cm width and 185cm height.
- Quatro Spa: 80cm width and 205cm height.

Chlorine and pH levels must be tested before first use and at least twice daily. Results must be recorded on the Test Sheet provided and shown at collection.
If test results fall outside safe levels, use the Water Care Kit as instructed and retest before use.
Never run jets if the water level is below the filter housing.
Chemicals must be kept in their containers, out of reach of children, and stored dry.

You may cancel your booking up to 3 days before the hire start date for a full refund.
No refund will be given if cancelled after 9am, 2 days before the start date.
We may offer to reschedule subject to availability.
As this is a leisure hire for specific dates, the statutory 14-day cooling-off period does not apply.

Delivery is between 8am and 7pm on the agreed day; you will be notified of the approximate time in advance.
Collection is from 8:30am on the final hire day. The hot tub must remain plugged in and set to AUTO for safe draining.
If access requirements are not met, or delivery/collection is delayed due to obstructions, we cannot be held responsible.

The Equipment remains the property of Swedish Blue Spas at all times.
You are responsible for loss, theft, or damage caused during the Hire Period, including misuse or failure to follow instructions.
Charges will not exceed the full replacement cost of the item (price list available on request).
Any issues must be reported before or at collection.

A call-out fee of £50 applies if we need to attend due to misuse, excessive dirt, debris, broken glass, or failure to follow instructions.
No fee applies if the issue is due to equipment fault.

At the end of the Hire Period, the Company reserves the right to enter the premises at a reasonable time to recover the Equipment.

You are responsible for supervising all users of the hot tub.
The Company accepts no liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage resulting from misuse or failure to follow these Terms.
Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Your personal data will be processed in line with our Privacy Policy (available on request).
We only collect data necessary to process your booking and will never share your data with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
